Sewing needle case in William Morris Pimpernel print fabric

Use this little book to keep your needles neat and close at hand. I have made the cover using a beautiful William Morris print which has green leaves swirling around cream poppies and tiny pimpernel flowers. I backed this fabric with iron-on fleece and then sewed three rows of wave stitch widthways in order to give a lightly quilted effect. I machine embroidered the word “Needles” in dark red/brown thread onto a patch of linen and appliquéd this to the front. The lining is a coffee and white spotted quilting cotton. Inside has two leaves of white felt to hold needles and the book can be fastened closed with a loop of black cord around a green vintage button. Measures approx 8.5cm x 13cm when closed. This item is ready to ship. I usually send out next day using second class postal service in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, so if you would prefer first class, please get in touch. Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper, whilst the outer packaging might be recycled.
